Waterpark planning guide Atlantis, The Palm
Make a day
of the waterpark.
Choose rides around your group’s heights and comfort in the water, then check the date-specific ticket and park details.
The short answer
Aquaventure World currently lists waterpark hours as 10:00am–6:00pm and says it is open every day of the year. It recommends arriving at 10:00am to make the most of a visit. Ticket prices vary by season, so use the official ticket flow for the date you want rather than relying on an old price.
Hours, attraction operation and ticket terms can change. Check the official site for your date, and recheck ride restrictions for each child’s height before choosing a ticket.
Choose the right ticket
Compare what your day actually needs.
Start with the standard waterpark day pass, then check what is included for your chosen date. The official site also offers a same-day waterpark and Lost World Aquarium combination pass. Compare both options only if your group genuinely has time and interest for both experiences.
Check the date and total.
Online ticket prices and plaza prices may differ; the park says on-site prices vary by season. Review the final total, entry date, inclusions and terms before paying.
Decide whether to add the aquarium.
The official booking page describes a same-day combo pass. Check current access and timing terms before treating it as better value.
Consider queue and comfort add-ons separately.
AquaXpress, lockers, towels, premium seating and cabanas are optional extras. Check availability and the current price in the official booking flow.
The waterpark’s published terms state that ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Read the live terms before purchase, especially if your plans may change.
Plan around height and ability
Ride access is not one-size-fits-all.
The park is open to all ages, but some rides have minimum height rules. Its general visitor guidance notes that certain rides are restricted to guests at least 1.2 metres tall. The detailed terms list lower limits on some attractions, often with an adult-accompaniment rule for children between the stated height bands.
Before you promise a particular ride, check its current sign and the official attraction-by-attraction rules. Lifeguards may require lifejackets for swimmers under 1.2 metres; the park says lifejackets are available around the waterpark. Children under 1.2 metres should remain under responsible adult supervision.
Some attractions are recommended only for strong swimmers, and individual health conditions may make certain rides unsuitable. Check the official guidance and ask the lifeguard if you are unsure; do not treat a general ticket as a guarantee of access to every slide.
Pack for a full day
Bring swimwear, sun protection and a plan for valuables.
The official site lists one-piece and two-piece swimsuits, Speedos, rash guards, board shorts and burkinis among acceptable swimwear. Street clothes, jeans and some other garments are not allowed on attractions. Check the current swimwear rules if you have questions about a specific item.
- Bring suitable swimwear and sun protection; plan breaks and water for the day.
- Consider adding a towel or locker during booking; availability and charges may vary.
- Use lockers for valuables. Eyeglasses and jewellery should be removed before riding.
- Do not bring food, beverages, glassware or alcohol into the waterpark.
- Regular nappies are not permitted in pools; swim nappies are available in park gift shops.
- Phones on slides must be secured in a waterproof neck pouch, and cameras are prohibited on slides.
